Our recent stay at Ponderosa Lodge in Red River was a pleasant surprise. the central location made it easy to enjoy skiing and other activities in the area. the cozy rooms were well-equipped, with some even boasting a fully functional kitchen - perfect for families like mine who enjoy cooking together. The welcoming atmosphere extended to the comfortable amenities, including a flat-screen TV and reliable WiFi. the management's efforts to update the property were evident, enhancing our overall experience. While some minor issues with cleanliness and outdated furnishings were noted in one room, the stellar location and warm hospitality overshadowed these shortcomings. As someone who values both comfort and convenience during travels, Ponderosa Lodge proved to be a delightful retreat for our family holiday. With Taos Regional Airport just a short distance away, the lodge's accessibility was a bonus. And with Angel Fire a stone's throw away, outdoor enthusiasts like us found plenty of options for adventure.
